About

A local practice,
open to the world.

Aarush Singh Minhas is an Amritsar-based founder working across Punjabi music, cultural documentation, and rights education.

His work brings together independent creative practice and public-interest projects. Unheard Amritsar documents traditional Punjabi musicians and creates ways for their work to be heard and credited. The International Baccalaureate featured the project in its Festival of Hope: Youth in Action series.

Aarush also initiated Punjab Music Rights Society (PMRS), an initiative focused on documentation, credit, and rights education for Punjabi music contributors. PMRS publishes further information about its purpose and origin on its own website.

The Eighth Fold is an independent creative brand exploring ideas through clothing, visual design, writing, and listening. Its own site documents those projects.
